Siusi is situated at 1004 m above sea level on an uneven, sunny plateau at the foot of the alpine pasture Alpe di Siusi and the Sciliar massif with its two famous peaks “Santner” and “Euringer”, embedded in dense forests and wide meadows and fields. Northwards and westwards the view reaches the snow covered three thousand metre peaks of the main chain of the Alps. Eastwards the beautiful Sciliar - Catinaccio Natural Park is waiting to be discovered, starting directly from Siusi. 

Despite its humble beginnings at the turn of the Twentieth century, Siusi has become one of the most important, beautiful and most rich in tradition tourist destinations of the country.
