Suite 111: „Clouds“

for 2–4 people – 35 m²
The separate living and sleeping quarters offer space to withdraw, while the east-facing balcony lets you fall asleep with panoramic views and wake up to the morning sun. The living room has a beautifully high, angled ceiling with timber beams, enlivened by the play of the cylindrical lamps. The motif of the wallpaper on the front wall only becomes apparent upon closer inspection – a surprise awaits! The panorama visible from the east window is sure to tempt you outside. Even from the bathtub, a mountain panorama can be seen.

Four pictures on the walls set the bright tone that is reflected in the pink of the armchair and the turquoise of the bed frame. They illustrate details of an action by Philipp Messner between 8 January and 5 February 2016 on the southern lawn in front of Munich’s Alte Pinakothek gallery, where he repeatedly added new layers to “yesterday’s snow” in an unusual approach to Action Painting…

The “Clouds” suite has a bathroom with a bathtub/shower, bidet, WC and hairdryer, a walk-in wardrobe, two satellite TVs, a phone and safe, as well as a balcony with a comfortable swing seat and two chairs with a small table. Three additional beds – including a bunk bed – can be created in the living room if necessary.

To ensure you enjoy a restful sleep we have selected the SAMINA sleep system. The wide range of pillows, handmade duvets, climate-regulating sheep’s wool mattress toppers, natural rubber mattresses with superior elasticity and freely suspended slat frames will all ensure a good night’s sleep during your stay at the Hotel Icaro. Sleep yourself healthy!
