Gregor Passens - BURNING SNOWMAN

2023

In this series by Gregor Passens, handmade snowmen created using white glazed ceramics become candle holders that combine art and design, beauty and functionality. BURNING SNOWMAN symbolizes the effects of climate change and the delicate beauty of snow. The snowman emanates the heat of the candle and represents this frozen but temporary sculpture made fragile by the increase in temperature.
